You can then export your live WordPress website and then import the exported website to your local server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Install the All-in-One WP Migration plugin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A great way to move WordPress from local server to live website is to install the All-in-One WP Migration plugin. You will need to&nbsp;<strong>install the plugin on your live WordPress website and then install the same plugin on your local website.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the steps below to install the All-in-One WP Migration on your live WordPress website and then&nbsp;<strong>repeat the steps for your local website.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>First of all log in to WordPress and click on \u201cPlugins\u201d on the side menu. You will then arrive on the Plugins page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u201cAdd New Plugin\u201d at the top of the page and then it will take you to the Add Plugins page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you have followed the instructions above, search for a plugin by using the search box (1) and it should display on screen. Then click on \u201cEXPORT\u201d(2).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on \u201cEXPORT TO\u201d(3) and choose \u201cFILE\u201d(4). Please ensure that you have a backup of your data or you don\u2019t mind it being overwritten before starting the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the next steps to import the exported website to a local website:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on \u201cAll-in-One WP Migration\u201d (1) on the side menu. Then click on \u201cIMPORT\u201d (2).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on \u201cIMPORT FROM\u201d (3) and choose \u201cFILE\u201d (4). Once the installation has finished, click \u201cFINISH\u201d and then you can view the imported website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To view the website, click on the home button in the top left of WordPress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the page has loaded, you will see how you\u2019ve been able to move your live website to local server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to log in to your local WordPress website<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to log in to your local website, you will need to use the credentials you used to log in to your live WordPress website. This is because the details were imported from the live website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow these steps to log in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Go to your your local website homepage and then type \/wp-login.php on the end of the url as you can see below.
